Yacht Charter
Broker

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our global team. You’ll be responsible for all Pelorus yacht charters, including developing and managing new yacht business and partnerships to support brand marketing efforts, and achieve customer acquisition and sales objectives. You will establish and manage a pipeline and method for revenue generation. You will have the ability to close inbound leads, identify new leads and manage a network of clients and partners.

To succeed in this role, you will need to attend boat shows, events, and trade shows. A background in the yacht industry and as a yacht charter broker is essential. You will need to demonstrate a track record of generating revenue and achieving targets. Having an established network of industry contacts, specifically yacht clients would be beneficial along with experience of working in fast-paced environments that require laser-focused prioritisation. Pelorus is primarily UK-based, with offices in London, and teams based around the globe in the US, Monaco, South Africa and KSA.

Core Responsibilities

  • Work alongside our Directors/Managers to create and implement a global yacht charter strategy

  • Creating and implementing global partnerships alongside marketing efforts to continue to build Pelorus Yachting into a global luxury brand

  • Direct management of existing clients and industry partners to improve lead generation

  • Responsible for all charter agreements

  • Responsible for maintaining strong relationships and knowledge of best-in-class yachts worldwide

  • Attending and representing Pelorus at key industry events

  • Be a core part of the team further establishing Pelorus’ presence worldwide

  • Working with a fast moving, young, dynamic, and highly motivated team

Experience

  • Experience of 3+ years as a charter broker

  • Experience working within other roles in the yacht industry an advantage

  • Working within a team

  • Established network of contacts in the yacht sector is essential

  • Demonstrated history of generating revenue and meeting targets

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Impeccably organised and accurate in execution

  • Analytical mindset and digital proficiency

  • Experience in fast-paced environments that require laser-focused prioritisation
